The holiday season is here, and being one of my favorite holidays, I love to get our Christmas Tree up and decorated.  We got a 7ft Douglas Fir, and decorated it with blue and white LED lights.

I have spent the last couple of weeks browsing through the ad scans hoping for some good deals on either games, toys, or electronics, and there was really nothing to speak of this year.  The stores and malls were packed without a doubt, but the lack of any real sales will make this a dismal shopping day.  Many of the popular items this year such as certain games and other related electronics were not discounted at all, and the things that were on sale were stuff you wouldn’t buy anyway...

Mine wasn’t too bad.  We went to the Lakefront on Friday to watch the fireworks, and spent the rest of the weekend shopping and relaxing.

Yesterday I went to the class to get licensed to carry a concelaed weapon.  The class was full with a wide range of people in age, occupation, and weirdness.  It was disturbing in some ways to see the types of people that will potentially be licensed to carry a firearm.
