These are just a little late, but I still wanted to feature some works from the weekend and past few days.  I am really keeping a good eye on the RightClick and ObjectDock galleries, as some fantastic skins and backgrounds have been rolling in lately. Are there any galleries you think have been getting more submissions than usual?

So with just over a month of Obama officially being President, and since elected in November, the stock market has lost well over 2000 points (didn't hear much in the media about that), they have pushed a trillion dollar "stimulus" plan, promised "free" healthcare and college to everyone, and higher taxes. Yesterday, the markets closed under 7000 and I would imagine we will see more of a drop today.  So, how is that socialism working out for you so far?    

I took some time this weekend to just sit down and play some Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment without interruption.  I will admit I still have a lot to learn, but the most important thing to me is I just have a blast playing. My PC is getting dated and it doesn’t run as many games as it used to, but it runs Sins just beautifully. Here are a few shots I grabbed from my game.

The last week of the month is just about done, and we will kick off the ending with another edition of This Week in Skinning.  Lots of good skins this week, and it was once again very difficult to narrow down just a few.
