The crew over at Actiontrip.com put their “hands on” the beta of Demigod, and gave their impressions so far.  “Games are fast and action packed from the start. The designers insist this is by design and say most games will last between 30 and 45 minutes. They have also taken great care to ensure that Demigod is accessible to everyone who wants to play. This means that similar to another Stardock game you may have heard of (Sins of a Solar Empire), the game does not require a cutt...

I know some of you are having trouble uploading .dreams, and I have been trying to reproduce the issue without much luck.  So now I want to enlist the help of some of you out there. Anybody who is having trouble uploading .dreams, can you please provide as much information as possible. Examples: How big is the .dream you are uploading? What browser(s) are you trying? We posted an announcement in the forums, but just in case you don't read th e forums I wanted to give a brief note that today we will be doing some maintenance on the WC database.  During this time, WinCustomize might experience brief periods of "issues" such as uploads not working, etc. There shouldn't be any major issues, but I just wanted to give a quick heads up as to what's going on.

Seems like just the other day TWiS was posted, but hey, it’s a new month so lets start it off right.  I have to say the Desktop galleries have really been taking off lately.  With sViz’s new feature and the new DX gadget gallery, maybe DX is making a big comeback! I have also been grabbing some really sweet wallpapers from the gallery as well.  All these new skins are just making it difficult to get a new desktop together, just too many choices! Now for this weeks picks!...

Lets take a trip back in time and see what was popular just 3 years ago.  The funny thing is, some things never really go “out of style”, as many skins I use not always “new”.  I didn’t pick a specific gallery this time, I just wanted to go through some random skins that were hot a few years back. Any of these skins ring a bell?

AtomicGamer.com has published a preview of Demigod! …” it's looking like GPG are going to have a hit on their hands with Demigod.” “Demigod has a definite fantasy look, but it pulls from medieval and Japanese influences at the same time - you won't see the stereotypical type fantasy art here that you've probably been getting sick of.” Demigod will make it onto store shelves, but much like how Valve set up Half-Life 2 and their other games since, this one is ...

IGN.com, which gave Sins of a Solar Empire the PC game of the year award in 2008, has posted their review of Sins first micro-expansion, Entrenchment. “Last year's Sins of a Solar Empire was an undeniably amazing experience; so much so, in fact, that it won our game of the year award. But that doesn't mean that the teams at Ironclad or Stardock are resting on their laurels. They've recently released the first micro-expansion for the game, Sins of a Solar Empire: Entrenchment ...

IncGamers.com has an interview up with Demigod executive producer, and CEO of Stardock, Brad Wardell.  It’s a great interview that touches on several aspects of Demigod. An exciting title for strategists and RPG players alike.  I think the first thing to ask is whether or not the Demigods will be based on actual mythical creatures, or are you creating your own gods for the purpose of this game? Demigod has its own rich mythological background that has be...
