In the games section of USA Today, they have a “gamers profile” of Morgan Webb, co-host of G4TV’s X-Play, and various other TV appearances.  Going through her list of current favorite games to play, I see one in particular that is very familiar, Sins of a Solar Empire! “I really enjoy Resistance (1 and 2) and the Ratchet and Clank series, Gears of War, and Halo is always a good time. I also enjoy real-time strategy games like Supreme Commander and Sins of a Solar Empire. I al...

The latest edition of the Demigod Dev Diary on IGN is now out!  This time the Dev Diary talks about RTS, Gas Powered Games, and some design decisions with Demigod.  As usual, it’s a great read to get some insights in the development of Demigod . “The beta program for Demigod has been unlike any that I've ever participated in. Windows XP is not down for the count yet, and I still use XP on a daily basis with VM’s and with my Acer Netbook.  Speaking of Netbooks, since their popularity is really taking off I thought it would cool to feature some XP theme and WindowBlinds skins that really work well with the smaller screen on the Netbook.  Many of us enjoy some of the wild and bold themes available, but in all reality, they are a bit difficult to work with on a Netbook, so these skins I have found to...

The gang over at AmpedGaming.com have published their review of Sins of a Solar Empire. “Arguably my favourite aspect of Sins is that it brings back an aspect of RTS games that have been quite absent in many games recently.  This is the diplomacy menu and the trade and commerce menu.  Any Hardcore RTS boasts the ability for you to not only conquer with military power but to run your enemies out of business with smooth economics skills or to get others to destroy them for you ...

Apple had a highly anticipated event where they officially unveiled the 3.0 operating system update for the iPhone and iPod Touch.  Users were watching this closely to see if the features that many have been asking for would be announced, and even possibly a hint at a future hardware revision.  Some of the key features of the 3.0 OS are: Cut and Paste. This was a long awaited feature, and apparently taking their time seems to have paid off with a slick interface for copy/past...
