Speaking of contests, the TWiS icon contest has produce some phenomenal icons already.  Keep them coming in and thanks to everyone for...

Whenever I install or update a PC with a new OS, I have a list of software that must be installed within the first hour or so.  Why?  Well because there are a few applications out there that are an almost necessity when working with Windows.  One of those is Multiplicity . If you have more than one PC on your desktop, you just won’t go back to your old setup after using Multiplicity.  If this is your first time hearing about MP, then MP is an application that allo...

The WinCustomize moderators spent a grueling weekend together fighting it out over who had the best skin picks for the month, but after a few slices of pizza and margaritas, we all worked it out and came up with Aprils list.  These are the favorite skins picked by the WinCustomize moderators themselves! WOM picks Loneliness Forest V by hmn1 ”Futuristic look.  Lights up the screen.” Zubaz picks Covert Ops (TM Suite) by Philly0381 ”Covert Ops Theme Manag...

I ran across an article in PC Gaming magazine about these mini-sized monitors that can be used for a variety of things.  It could be used as a message center where you keep track of social networks likes Twitter, or where you keep an eye on other info while you are playing a game on your main monitor. It's an interesting idea, but for the same price you can easily grab a 19"-22" monitor, so what's the appeal?  Well it is connected via USB only, so if you don't have another graphics ...

The latest review of Demigod is coming from GameTrailers, and they give it an 8.5! “Despite some of the multiplayer technical issues that are still ongoing, Demigod is an absolute blast to play. Anyone complaining about the lack of a single-player campaign is clearly missing the point. Demigod is a competitive strategy game through and through. It's a solid design that holds up well after numerous matches, and the more you play, the more you discover that the waters in Demigod run very...

Crispy Gamer has a very in-depth interview with Gas Powered Games, Mike Marr.  He is the Lead Designer of Demigod and this interview covers most of the bases. “You've heard a lot from Brad Wardell and Chris Taylor about Demigod . They're the outspoken and very public faces of Demigod's developer and publisher, respectively. But if you want to get down to the nitty-gritty design issues, the guy you want to talk to is lead designer Mike Marr. Which is just what I did.” ...
