Every day I visit tons of website, forums, and social networks for all types of topics, most of which are technology based in some sort of form.  This election cycle has really brought out the best of the liberal “group think” mentality regarding Obama.  On just about every social network Obama is praised as “the one” and any hint of disagreement with his policies or ideals is immediately responded with accusations of racism, or just plain insults.  Anybody who wants to claim that liberals are tolerant to others, please give me a shout because I can quickly debunk that.  Even here on our network of sites, there have been insults tossed at the slightest hint of either supporting McCain, or being against Obama.  I’m certainly not saying conservatives don’t dish out their fair share, but the mentality of liberals has once again bordered on the insane and hateful.

It’s tough being a proud conservative, as I will say what I think regardless of what the group and mob mentality is.  The real shame is so many people, especially bloggers in the tech area, are afraid to do the same.  I have received so many private notes and comments in support of standing up for conservatism, it’s almost crazy.  The best comparison I can make is how conservative actors in Hollywood are often ridiculed or turned down for roles because of their conservative beliefs, and the same mentality is going on right now in the blogosphere.  Conservative bloggers, some of which can be considered A-list are having to remain silent about their thoughts on Obama and McCain, simply because they are afraid of retribution from their employers or just not being able to pickup work from other sites.  It’s a shame, and it’s more telling about liberals than it is anything.

I am a conservative, I don’t like Obama, and I will never let anyone intimidate me because of that.

I have a feeling that Obama is Al Qaeda's way of trying to get us from the inside.

But then again, I don't really care for McCain, either. He's a man of great character, having suffered as a POW for our country, but then again, he's not a man of great character in other areas.

Both claim to be Christians. One has made a lot of money on the damnable liquor industry; the other supports murdering babies.

Maybe Obama's pastor, Rev. Wright was right... God D**n America.

I'm more or less conservative myself, I'd much rather vote for McCain than Obama because of moral issues, but I don't have to vote for either of them! Chuck Baldwin 2008! (By the way, Baldwin is considerably more conservative than Republicans have been in a long time.)

I had planed on voting for Chuck Baldwin this time but now I feel I must vote against Obama(a vote for McCain).
We have two options as of now.
A guy who spent 5 years in a POW camp. He could have got out early but he didn't want to leave his fellow soldiers behind.

And a guy who holds his package while everyone else has there hand over their heart.

Sure are a lot of empty hot air wind bags around.

Now that you have clarified your allegation, prove it.

I didn't allege anything and there's nothing for me to prove to you oh self-appointed expert in conservative stink bait.

WebGizmos
And in the end...it won't matter anyway...those who truly rule this chunk of rock we call earth will do what they want...your just along for the ride...so strap in and hold on tight because you ain't seen nothin yet!

People accuse me of wearing a tin foil hat when I say these types of things, so now mostly I just think them to myself and try vainly not to sound so paranoid.

This statement tends to support ID's original post doesn't it...........

No, the statement was in reference to my not seeing these sorts of things in any prime time news cast, national news or major periodical.  I do tend to see them on this web site with reference to other "Conservative info" sources.  The large number of right wing magnates that keep gravitating to this thread don't seem to support your contention.  They keep claiming I'm not well read enough and that I can find plenty of support for their many conservative contentions all over the Net if I just look for it.

The second pick was taken during the singing of the national anthem not during the pledge. However, he is the only one of about 10 people shown in the video NOT holding his hand over his heart.

Kennedy was not a good President and almost startd WWIII. He's the only one ever to put a finger on the nuclear button...

Actually, he PREVENTED WW3.  Can you imagine what McCain would have done in that same situation?  We wouldn't be having this conversation.

And as I have said I respect his past accomplishments, and who he was right up until this election, when he flipped all of his positions on their ass just to get the nomination.  The vietcong broke him forty years ago and so did the RNC this year.

They've all worked CLOSELY with Ayers for decades.

But McCain hasn't.

Cause he didn't live/work in CHICAGO.  Please re-read my post.

I have a feeling that Obama is Al Qaeda's way of trying to get us from the inside.

Congratulations, you've bought the same smear tactics that the same people used to initiate a needless and costly war with Iraq (no 9-11 connection, never was).  That was their intention.  Since they can't run against Obama on the issues or his integrity, they've been running against him on his middle name and the color of his skin...though they don't say it just that way.

But for the record, OSAMA wants us to spend a fortune, lock down our freedoms, and bankrupt our nation.  And for those of you who remember Osama saying just that before and after 9-11, guess who played into his plan hook, line, and sinker?  Bushie boy.

And guess which candidate Osama MOST wants to see in the White House, to continue the bankrupting of our nation?  John McCain.

They have run against his issues, you just need to pay attention.  His character and judgement is just as important as his policies, which 0bama fails on both.

So what I'm hearing you say is the sources you mention ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN are fair and balanced while any source other than these is right-wing? I guess the term "Liberal Media" is a misnomer.
