Over the past couple of months, there has been quite a bit of speculation that Obama’s birth certificate holds a secret, one of which that he is not a natural born citizen therefore not eligible to be President of the United States.  Several petitions have been filed, and the SCOTUS has review and denied most that have come in.  I’m not really sure what to believe, as I have haven’t seen evidence either way to indicate whether Obama is or isn’t qualified to be President.

However, the thing that bothers me the most is Obama will not open the sealed document to put this matter to rest.  If he is about “change”, and so-called “open government” then he should have no problem releasing these documents and putting an end to the speculation.  But he doesn’t.

The Kenyan government has also put in place a gag order silencing Obama’s extended family from talking to the media about Obama.  Why?  Is it too much to ask for the American public to have the ability to ensure that the person who will run our country is completely eligible?

Is there anyone who objects to Obama having to show his eligibility to be President?

Apparently he has not, or it would not still be a question.

there are questions and questions.

1. did the us really land on the moon?

2. did the bush administration stage 911 using robot-controlled planes?

There is a big difference between conspiracy theories and asking a guy to produce a birth certificate to prove that he fulfills the minimum requirements for a job.  Hell I had to provide a certified copy of my birth certificate when I got my job to prove I was a US citizen, why shouldn't any elected official have to provide documentation to their constituents that they meet the minimum requirements for the position for which they are running?

The natural born qualification was put there by the founding fathers for reasons that no longer exist and is only appears to be relevant to those who can't get over it.

Wow, so it's not relevant just because you think it's not.  Kind of funny coming from the left who have screamed about the Constitution for 8 years, but somehow ignores something like this because it's Obama.

I am shocked to see anyone not care if Obama is eligible or not. Obama was voted in because some believed the Gov't has become corrupted and Obama would bring balance to it and yet here we are with questions of which answers are being hidden or avoided. Bush was criticized because of his military dismissal but it's OK for Obama to be President when we still wonder if he was eligable to be one at all.

This is the fake messiah culture they have created around Obama.  He could slaughter baby kittens on stage and all you would here is "change, change".

During the election, MSDNC had no problem reporting on the McCain theory.

Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and his advisers are doing their best to brush aside questions — raised in the liberal blogosphere — about whether he is qualified under the Constitution to be president.  But many legal scholars and government lawyers say it's a serious question with no clear answer.

No, it is not relevant because they cant answer it.  IN the liberal mind, only questions they can answer (the answer does not have to be correct) are relevant.

what documents do you want him to release?

1. Obvious.....a real certified copy of his birth certificate

2.  Columbia College Records

3. Columbia Thesis paper

4. Medical Records (we sure heard of McCain's, Bush and Clinton's etc checkups)

5.Harvard College Records

6. Law Practice Client List

7. Illinois State Senate Schedule

8.  Illinois State Senate Records

As far as I'm aware (correct me if I'm wrong) none of these things have been released to the public.  How about even a record of his baptism?   Did he have any Law Articles published while at Harvard?  I've heard NOT.

I have a friend here who is a retired School Cafeteria Manager of a High School.  She was put under years of training working her way up.  She said there's no way Obama could have come in after only 143 days of experience and been a Cafeteria Manager.

Wake up people.  We just elected a President who couldn't even be a manager at Burger King after 143 days of experience.

Thanks for contributing nothing to the conversation.

more like commenting on the pronouncements of one of those guys walks around by hisself talking animatedly (with or without a bluetooth) to those only they can see.

wanting to make sure someone is eligible to be President is in the same class as the liberal loons from the past 8 years.  LOL.

don't seem to me much different than "wanting to make sure someone is actually elected president" and a hell of a lot less sane than "wanting to be sure someone is competent to be president...or anything else, for that matter".

Several petitions have been filed, and the SCOTUS has review and denied most that have come in.

to the best of my knowledge, it's rejected all--not most.

what are the odds that any court investigating this sorta claim wouldn't demand to see evidence?  hell, even that dipshit judge alex eventually works his way around to proof about 1/2 the time.

on Dec 22, 2008

Before swearing in time, I want Obama to show proof without doubt that he meets the Constitutional requirements of being President.

if i were you, i'd want him to take an oath on the koran--cuz otherwise he'd just be bamboozling good christians like yourself.

it is kinda innaresting seein you--for whom evidence is always trumped by revelation (for which there never is any evidence) suddenly demanding factual proof of anything.

i know in my heart he meets the requirements...and that should be enough for everyone who knows something unproven (no matter what) in their hearts.

any kinda luck--realizing the relation between luck, common sense and sufficient intrinsic editiorial discipline to read what one's written, if only quickly, before clicking on the "post" button is nothing more than what might be termed 'making one's own luck"--i'll never discover myself strewing the place with anything so substantive as...

But why he is hiding it?

It is like CLinton. Why do they feel the need to lie and obfuscate when the truth is good enough?
Did you ever post anything of substance?

when there's nothing at all being hidden in the first place.

before id serves yall another glass of koolaid while recommending you fill your pockets full of quarters in preparation for the great leap upward, you might wanna spend a few moments (or a few hours if your reading skills are at drguy level) here http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html possibly even invoking the baby jesus to open your mind and shut down them persisent paranoid voices in your heads long enough to discover the birth certificate provided by the obama campaign is exactly what is purports to be.

plenty of pix there including that pesky missing seal (on da back hawaiian style bra).

as far as the "secret crypto certificate" being 'sealed', try to bear in mind this ain't the kinda 'seal' imposed by the papacy or dick "the hardest workin executive privilege claimant in show biz' cheney--much less any sorta special treatment or anything requiring action on the part of hawaii's governor.  in this instance, it's nothing more nor less than common ordinary regulations to preserve your privacy and that of your college records, healthcare history, information provided to obtain a driver's license, etc.

on the other hand, there's just gotta be a reason they keep all them so-called moon rocks locked away, right?

Why do American birth certificates list race???

on Dec 23, 2008

First of all:

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/31854_Oh_Noes!_Nirth_Certifikit_Eated!

But let's get to business.

The most prominent crusader against Obama’s American citizenship claim, lawyer Philip Berg (who, not coincidentally, is also a prominent 9/11 Truther) disputes that Obama was born in Hawaii and claims that Obama’s paternal grandmother told him she saw Obama born in Kenya.

Berg and his supporters further assert that the “Certification of Live Birth” produced by Obama was altered or forged. They claim that the contemporaneous announcement in a Hawaii newspaper of Obama’s birth is insufficient evidence that he was born there. (Did a fortuneteller place it in the paper knowing he would run for president?) And they accuse anyone who disagrees with them of being part and parcel of the grand plan to install Emperor Obama and usurp the rule of law.

I believe Trig was born to Sarah Palin. I believe Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. I believe fire can melt steel and that bin Laden’s jihadi crew — not Bush and Cheney — perpetrated mass murder on 9/11. What kind of kooky conspiracist does that make me?

http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=OGY0OTgxYWYzYTJmOTVjODhjYWFmZDQ0ZWQzMzFhYzQ=

Berg's a nutbar Bush-hater from way back; in 2001 he asked Supreme Court Justices Thomas, Scalia and O'Connor to voluntarily disbar themselves for their decision in Bush v. Gore.

http://screwloosechange.blogspot.com/2007/01/philip-j-berg-nutbar-supreme.html

One of the frequent participants in the conference calls is Bob Schultz, who heads the "We the People Foundation" which has raised tens of thousands of dollars raising questions about Obama's background and promoting Berg's legal action with full-page ads in the Washington Times, Chicago Tribune and the conservative newspaper Human Events. The group is now eyeing buys in the New York Post and USA Today.

Schultz's Web site, which had previously been dedicated to promoting Rep. Ron Paul's (R-Texas) insurgent presidential campaign, hosts an array of documents and web videos offering conflicting arguments - that Obama was born outside of the United States, or that he lost his citizenship upon moving to Indonesia with his mother and step father and then must have re-entered the United States illegally.

I refuse to go down that road.

Finally something of substance.  Irrelevant, and juvenile, but coherant words strung together.  There might be hope for you after all.

Why do American birth certificates list race???

Pennsylvania's birth certificates don't list race. What I find interesting is his (Obama's) BC lists his mothers race as Caucasian and his fathers as African. I always thought Africa was a geographical location, not a race. Also, are there not white Africans? Also, IMO this seems interesting to me in light of the time of his birth, wouldn't race have been listed as Negro? I'm not familiar with Hawaiian documents in any form, so it is conjecture on my part, but it does seem odd. Perhaps Hawaii was just more progressive back then, or someone just knew that he was destined for greatness. Anyone know if a bright star appeared over the islands when he was born (or if he was protected by Rotweiliers and a strange old nanny)?

Pennsylvania's birth certificates don't list race.

I can see why birth certificates would list nationality, but I'll never understand that race thing. Who cares what race someone is?
