So now we finally have the announcement for Obama’s running mate, Joe Biden.  While I will go into what a mistake that was later, the focus is now on who will McCain pick.  The staunch supporters of Obama are defending the criticism of Biden being picked, saying the VP slot really “doesn’t matter”.  That’s funny considering the vast and obsessive hatred they have over Cheney.  Regardless, I think if McCain picks the right person he will have no problems going into November as long as Obama keeps slipping up.

Now who should McCain pick.  I really don’t have a name in mind but I do have suggestions.

  • First of all he needs to pick a younger, more conservative woman.
  • Someone who is not in the Senate, and never was.  A governor (or former) would be a great selection.

So I’d like to start hearing some names put out there as to who you think McCain should pick as his VP running mate.

How about the Govenor of Alaska?  Sarah Palin?

The more I know about her, the more I like her.  She might be just the woman we need.

oh here's her website with her bio on it:

I still say Lieberman.

1) McCain and Liebrman are friends, McCain trusts him.

2) It throws the "change" how government is run arguement back in Obama's face.

3) Probably gives the Hillary voters someplace to go.

My second choice is for McCain to pick a woman, maybe Palin.

I wont say woman (although a woman is not a bad choice) as a criteria, but yes, a Governor. Sitting or former.

I still say Lieberman.

I say Lieberman, too, if only to make his ticket COMPLETELY UNELECTABLE.

Now that the Dems have aligned Obama with attack dog Joe Biden, Sarah Palin would be the perfect fit.  McCain would be wise to select Palin.

Some students compiled a nice video in support of her  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_vaH2BjVeA

I'm saying Romney.  I dont' think he has to pick a woman.

on Aug 25, 2008

I'm saying Romney.

Romney would be a surefire way to lose this thing. He outspent his rivals by at least 5 to 1 but was still badly beaten, even Mike Huckaphoney wiped the floor with him. I think he stunk up the place because he didn't seem to have any core beliefs. Give Romney an issue, and he found a way to get on both sides of it. Then theres his kooky Mormonism... this gives many secular minded and Christian Republicans the creeps. It would be best to leave Romney in the dust with all the personal millions he threw away trying to buy the Presidency.

Joe Lieberman - Hey will loose the Far Right and Far Left, but he will pick up everyone else.

Colin Powell - Well he is Colin Powell, same reason as Lieberman.

Romney would be a surefire way to lose this thing.
He'd help carry Michigan because he's from Michigan.  He has that executive experience.  He would be an asset when it comes to the economy. The Mormonism might help McCain in the west.  He's pro-life which would make the conservative Christians happy.  Plus he looks presidential.  He'd be VP dreamboat - lol.  Have you seen his sons - hotties all of them.
