There is a severe problem with this skin's start menu design on Vista. I have my taskbar on the top of my screen. When I click the Start button, the User Picture appears RIGHT on top of the start button and is clicked, forcing me to open the User Accounts section of the Control panel. Please move the user icon to the right hand side of the start panel.

It's a user pic positioning issue.  The problem is that, if we move it, it makes the standard use of the taskbar look weird.  I am thinking that we might need to start making "top taskbar" substyles for the users that use he taskbar on the top.

Is moving the icon to the right really going to make it that weird? Icon on the right is the default positioning for Windows Vista anyway. This is a really annoying bug.

VERY NICE

I've always wanted to take the box off Rock Star Start Panel. I hope this one can be unencrypted since there's no known third party copyright images used - I think.

I entered my email and all links (That's a lot of money when add up )sent was for MyColors so far, no zip files file.

We'll be in business for a long time then.

If you got rid of the user icon box entirely, I wouldn't mourn it.

Another bug in Burgundy: You can't use non-black wallpaper because the taskbar isn't transparent by the Start button. You end up with a gray blob from the blur effect.

Shelbygt, thanks for the information. You are right and that worked. I totally forgot that I changed the font. I wondered why changing the /ig theme didn't work.

I need some assistance tweaking MyColors and/or some related Object Desktop Ultimate package settings. I've noticed several issues, but the most immediate is that context menu text is illegible due to transparency, though other menu backgrounds and text appear fine. No other desktop icons, files or even the weather widget that comes with the burgundy package move.

Secondary issue:
Burgundy's clock widget moves after running some game in full-screen mode, whether or not the full-screen game resolution is equivalent to the 2d desktop resolution. In my case, the clock moves from where I'd placed it top and center of my screen, over to the top left corner. The hotspot to grab/move the clock is bugged, and clicking the clock to move it back to it's original location jumps the clock halfway across the screen - back to where it was originally placed. If the text description is too dense to understand, I'll frap a movie together to demonstrate - so let me know.

Yeah....tried that some time ago.....never heard anything back.
Been there...done that...all I got was a lousy non-response...lol! Tried getting permission for Boulder, and Rockstar...no answer, which I find to be rude, but who says Stardock Design has to have manners?

I'm with WG. I don't want to install MyColors because I like WB. And I'm afeared to do it because I don't want it corrupting my WB install, like WG posted about. Oh, well. I'll stick with WB.
I use both WB and MyColors with no problems both on Vista and XP.

Excellent theme, problem loading the weather widget though. Weather widget for think green works fine, burgundy states unable to determine version of stardock weather ocx.

I am having the same problem with the weather...whats the deal? And yes, I have notified stardock support yesterday...and nothing as of yet.

This one is not encrypted, I have started a DX theme from it but can't get permission to use.  (

Aesir Rising - this looks like XP you are using here.
Go to WB Config. screen and in the trans & blur tab change everything to the default settings right there next to where it says Vista-ize me. Then there a bit left of that is a drop down menu. Open the setting for menus and look there at the setting for the trans and set it to the skin default by clicking that link. Then reapply the skin from the top right where it says apply changes.
Also after doing this be sure to logoff and back in again so as to clear any cache settings left over in the system.
As for your problem with the clock. I would need to know more about what your graphics are set for and what you are using. But it really seems to me that it is just not running properly due to something it is confused with. Try this here right click the clock and uncheck the autorun. Then do as before and logoff and log back in again. After you log back in go to your start menu for all programs and look for stardock and my colors, glossburgandy gadgets, clock and restart the clock again. after you get it placed where you want it right click the clock again and check the autorun again so it starts.
Do you have a regs cleaner such ccleaner or something. If you do run it and then completely restart the computer. Oh and here is another little thing that a lot of people do not do at login. Do not just log right in as soon as it comes up. If you will take notice the system is still loading drivers and settings at this time and really does need a bit more time than you would expect it too. So give it a min. to load good and then login. If it looks like you are still not getting all your icons in the tray or something looks a bit slow - then do a logoff again to finish getting a clean dll loading. Really sounds like a lot of stuff is running in the background and you may also want to check that with either msconfig or another program that can list what is being loaded at startup when you login to windows.
Let me know and we will get you figured here for this.

All links being sent are still the same for the encrypted files.
on Aug 22, 2008
It has been said it will take some time to get all the links placed in every account.
So be patient and wait. People are doing their best to get everything done by the weekend.
In all hopes it will be completed today.

But soon there should be no problems. We are all waiting for this to happen. It has been said and I know it takes time to do such things. Just how long I do not know. But it will happen soon...

@ neophil: Thanks for clearing up the encryption for me. Obviously hadn't looked in the folder. Don't do graphics at all so not something I typically check.
