One of the top prizes in the 2008 GUI Championships is a Wacom Cintiq 12WX.  This thing is just awesome, and unfortunately I wasn’t the one who had the opportunity to try it out.  However, the awesome Art Team at Stardock was able to spend some time with it, and Zoomba wrote up a great hands-on article about the Cintiq. I talked about how much I enjoy using Paint Shop Pro from Corel, but they also make some other cool graphics applications as well.  Another one that comes to mind is Painter X .  The easiest way for me to describe Painter X is that it is a digital painting studio, with the ability to replicate traditional painting at incredible levels. I still can’t believe the year is quickly coming to an end.  With that, it’s time to get some things done to start the new year off right.  I have come to call this my “End of the Year Chores”.  It’s nice having a long holiday break, but I’m going to use some of that time to get these done. Last time we checked out some Holiday Bootskins , so this time I wanted  to move on to CursorFX themes.  This is one of my favorite categories for holiday skins, as some of the animations used are just incredible. To use these cursor themes, you will need CursorFX , either the free or Plus version will do.
