Back to the daily grind it is!  I hope everyone had a good weekend, and for me, I really can’t wait until this heat goes away.  Since it’s Monday, extra amounts of coffee are on hand, and it is time to recap the skins from the weekend.

Neoseeker is taking an in-depth look at the Elemental beta, and has posted Part 2 of their beta journals. “A couple of weeks ago I got my first, hard look at Stardock's strategy RPG Elemental: War of Magic, and chronicled my experiences. In its beta phase, the game has been somewhat hard to grasp, but I've learned quite a bit since my last journey, so here is part two of my "beta journals." Note I will be skipping over the less interesting bits for your sanity and enter...

Joystiq was given a look at a preview of Elemental: War of Magic, and has published their preview of the game. “Stardock's Elemental: War of Magic is already extraordinary, smashing genres together that may have been too big on their own in the first place. At its heart, it's a 4X game in the style of Civ or Galactic Civilizations, but it's also a fantasy RPG with a deep and long story, and a tactical battle game. It has a huge singleplayer campaign, a sandbox mode that creates g...

Just about everyone knows how useful Fences is for organizing your desktop from the clutter of icons, but you might not know how useful the sorting features of Fences Pro is so I wanted to show you some of my favorite tips on how to use it.  I see all types of cool links on Twitter and Facebook that I’d like to check out in more detail, but just not at that moment.  I setup a dedicated Fence to place internet shortcut links that I drag onto the desktop into, so they are kept organized and I can check them out when time allows.

Here’s how to set it up:

Right-click the desktop while holding down the mouse button to “draw” your Fence.  Then name it whatever you want, I used Quick Shortcuts for mine.
