Can we get some kind of official word on the preorder allowing us to have the game in Steam?  I understand the beta only being on Stardock, but I'd like to get the game itself on Steam.

Rebellion pre-order keys will be redeemable via Steam when the time comes for the beta and final release.

Go to my account once logged on to the Stardock store and there should be a "my pre-orders" button.

I don't see a "my preorders". I've got "my downloads", "billing information", "password management", and "order history". It doesn't show up in any of them, but I still have my preorder email with order number.

When I try to checkout the preorder with $10 off it says:

Pre-Requisite must be purchased first

You must have purchased the pre-requisite product before attempting to purchase Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion Upgrade [PO].

I have Sins Trinity on Steam, how can I preorder and get the discount?

I must warn you all that your going to play the beta first after you pay-so are you willing to pay for the game now and get an unfinished copy or wait to pay for the completely polished version? Frankly speaking i'd rather let the regulars find all the bugs in the beta and the modders dissect the game and pretend they know better -to amuse myself.

I would love to preorder, but I'm holding out for a boxed edition, or better yet, a collectors edition. How does that work in relation to this rebate for current owners? I'm assuming the special editions, if available, won't have the same price as the regular one.

Typically, if you pre-order you will get the option to upgrade to the boxed version when available.

It looks like your pre-order got cancelled as part of a credit-card address changing support ticket.

If you re-pre-order you should be all set.

Email sales@stardock.com if you have any questions.

I pre-ordered this back when it was previously on offer back in September, and its showing on my pre-orders menu. However, I recall it saying that I won't be charged until the Beta is up and its not showing on my orders history. The problem is the card I think I used on the pre-order is due to expire at the end of the month. Is there any way for me to check what card I used and, if necessary, change it?
Your best bet is to email sales@stardock.com to have them (us) cancel the order and make a new one with a card that will be good until beta release.

Oh, hmm...well in that case I guess I might as well pre order I just really want to make sure I don't miss out on the CE if available.

Thank you for the quick reply!

After using the totally non-obvious instructions to see that my preorder is confirmed, I still see no way to update my billing information, aside from the address. Since you tricked me into pre ordering 400 years before the game was released my card has long been shredded and expired... How can I go about that part?

Edit: I see someone else has the same issue:

So, when will that be? I need to make sure my card will still be good

yo tambien tengo la misma inquietud... para mi tendrían que pedir actualizar los datos de la tarjeta en el momento de la beta si hay problemas  cuando te manden el mail... no?

I also have the same concern... to my would be asked to update the card details at the time of beta if there are problems when send you the mail... not?

Release date = me being interested in giving you MY money.  I dont like paying for something that will be released "in 2012".....

I would like to take advantage of this nice pre order discount for existing customers, but this is very complicated for me at the least. 1st of all, the only game i have for stardock store is the original sins which is under my old email account. 2nd, i have entrenchment and diplomacy through gamespy impulse with my newer email account. I have all the games posted on my games list by by using both email account. now how would i be able to get the discount price? I don't seem to see any pre order of Rebellion available for gamespy impulse at all. I tried to buy it through stardock store but it doesn't give any discount because it only shows the original sins is the only thing i bought from there.

help or send me an private email for the coupon would be nice lol j/k. but please do assist if you guys know how to get around this.
