Yay.  I'll have to get in on this now that we're closer to the eventual release.  Thanks Ironclad and Stardock.

How will the game be available to those who preorder with this discount?  Will it come via Impulse?  Will it be available via Steam?  Or will it be available directly from Stardock?  (I'm sure this has been answered before, but it would be good to hear it again for those of us like me who have a short memory.)

Will those of us who already own the original and the two expansions be able to install Rebellion completely independently of them in a brand new folder, or will the Rebellion programming be dependent on the installation of the previous games?  (In other words, will downloading and installing Rebellion be the same as though I were downloading and installing a completely unrelated product for the first time?)

I would pre-order the game right now if it has Steam compatibility!!!!!!!!! i swear

I actually perfer my games on hard copies. I don't trust Steam bc consumer protection laws arn't really up to date with current distribution systems. Steam can ban your account and you lose all the games and their support is absolute crap when it comes to this. You can try to sue but not a whole lot of people can afford such a thing.

On Steam the game is not yours in a sense. At the moment the advantages of Steam don't outweigh the disadvantages and the risks of Steam or really any other online distributor.

At a minimum it will be available via Stardock Central.

This is a stand-alone expansion, you don't need the other games for Rebellion to work.  You just need to have purchased Trinity/Diplomacy to receive the discount.

I'd like to know how the game will be released as well...  If I can reserve the game here and put it into my Steam account, I'll preorder immediately.  If it'll only come via Impulse or Stardock login, I'd rather wait and get it on Steam.

I pre-ordered it prior, but when I log in to the above link it's prompting to buy it..  It's not telling me anything about my pre-order.  Can I get some confirmation if I'm pre-ordered or not?

on Feb 08, 2012

Has the system been fix so that those who preorder will get the game to show up first on impulse the day of release vs those who buy it the day of release?

Why can I only pay via Credit Card? In Germany only very few people have one. I could pay for Entrenchment and Diplomacy via PayPal, why not now? This is pretty stupid.

Try this

There is probably a faster way, but if you used your forum account to pre-order, go to "My Account", hit the registrations tab, hit view registrations, sign in at the Stardock Store, then go to my account again, then "My Pre-orders".

The problem is pay pal not Stardock. From what I understand Pay Pal won't allow purchase of pre-orders or anything else where your product won't be available until a later date. None of the pre-orders have been allowed by pay pal. Once the full game or maybe even the beta comes out it will be okay, though of course this offer will have expired...

How long is the "limited time".

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Stardock Central what used to be around before Impulse was released? Are you bringing it back, or is this referring to something else now?

oooooo does this mean they are getting closer to the relese date?

I kinda want a release date before pre-ordering.
