What is the difference between this new forum and the one already in place if I may ask?

Edit Never mind I should have pressed the link before posting *dumb me* "I see the marketing department at Stardock are hard at work". No need for "carrots" for me I will refer everyone I can to such a promising game I just hope it will not disappoint the less open-minded player.

This is a very clever scheme! I applaud.

Your "refer a friend" button appears to be *not* working.  I put in my friend's gmail address and I get "error, cannot connect to server".

Edit: added *not*, good thing Kestral can understand me even when I leave out critical words!

looking into the refer a friend issue, seems like it is just not working some times (or with some email addresses)

This looks like it could be a bit of fun.  Does forum discussion here count, or is that intended for forums on other websites?

"So-called 'adventurers' have entered the forbidden dungeon of Ithyrl and unleashed the long banished demon Kroxir, killing them in the process"

As a teacher, I am saddened whenever I see grammar errors such as this in print, or on the Internet as in this case. Such errors in games are particularly troubling to me because I know they will be seen primarily by young people. Having played many Stardock games, I know this to be a chronic problem; having read many reviews of Stardock games, I know I am not the first to point it out. I’m quite prepared to be accused of negativity, perhaps in colorful language, by other forum members, but the intent is constructive criticism. Stardock, you may not realize it, but you need to hire a professional writer. Your games are great, which I imagine is because of your back-ground as serious computer programmers, but your stories are hackneyed and your prose is poor, probably for the same reason.

As an internet forum-goer, I am saddened whenever I see netiquette errors such as posting a completely off topic reply.

Go me!

Well, if the off-topic reply happened to be awesome, that would be a beast of a different color.

What is the mistake, just so we are clear?

You should realize that english grammar is no longer taught in most shools. Run on sentences and improper punctuation abound in daily speech and have slowly crept into our prose. Even I, a linguistic intellectual, find myself stricken with amiguities in what I was never taught by the ones being underpaid to teach me. Could you enlighten us?

If I had to guess, it would be the dash between so and called, or a comma after the noun demon.

Same as yours: off-topic.

on Jun 07, 2010

As long as we are committed to being off-topic:

So-called 'adventurers' have entered the forbidden dungeon of Ithyrl, unleashed the long-banished demon Kroxir, and killed themselves in the process.

..or..

So-called 'adventurers' have entered the forbidden dungeon of Ithyrl and unleashed the long-banished demon Kroxir,  who killed them.

I've joined the army, have you? Try it after all this is an Alfa stage game going into Beta stage game in development not yet  released as a final game. So you still have time to contribute and get yourself a "prize".

*Disclaimer I am guilty of terrible grammar and spelling please do not judge me for I do my best to look for the qualities with in myself and improve on my defects*

I would have been a shoe-in to get to elite if the site I made content for was still on-line. I actually made videos about Elemental that are now lost in the space between servers.

But at least I got to veteran status.

Hmm, about "quests". There is entry about player preview can it be on my native language or it is nesessary to write it in engl? And the same questions about all the entries, should I use eng?
