Introducing the Elemental Army!

Impulse is giving PC fans an added bonus for their Diggs, Tweets and Forum participation starting today as Stardock announced the formation of a new fan-based society, the Elemental Army. Fans of the anticipated PC fantasy strategy title Elemental: War of Magic can win limited edition / custom Elemental packs, up to $100 in gift cards to Stardock’s digital distribution platform, Impulse and more by simply enlisting in the Elemental Army and participating in online discussions about the upcoming epic turn-based strategy game.

This is a very clever scheme! I applaud.

Your "refer a friend" button appears to be *not* working. I put in my friend's gmail address and I get "error, cannot connect to server".

Edit: added *not*, good thing Kestral can understand me even when I leave out critical words!

I got this error too.

As did I. Looks like it might be something with Gmail addresses.

I got this error too.

I have a question about the rules, as well. Can quests be completed multiple times? Like Digging multiple articles, or adding Elemental to multiple wishlists, etc. The rules are rather unclear about that.

If they are different articles on Digg for example, sure. Just not multiple submissions for the same thing.

Ok, so if I added it to my wishlist on Amazon and IGN, I can submit both of those? And what about forum participation? I know there are a lot of people here who have started a lot of articles, and participated in a lot of different discussions.

yes you can submit both of them, for the forums participation you are free to submit whatever you like, if you submit a lot of small posts though you will get a small amount of points for them or none at all. It depends on the quality of your submission how much you will get out of it. You also will get more points for forums that aren't ours.

well we have no official right way to do it right now, I suggest posting it somewhere you can link to and then submit a link to the image. If you are concerned about people taking your image or something I suggest using www.screencast.com as the content there is linked to your account and you can disable others from viewing it.

We are looking into setting up an email account you could mail your art directly to but for now hosting is the only option (as it provides a direct way for others to see it)

This method will take an actual person some time to do, but it's better than that "Road to War" roll-out for Warhammer Online:Age of Reckoning. I just kept inviting spamgourmet email addresses to rack up the points to be sure to get my sigil of cursed company.
