This is wrong on so many levels. Especially since Obama hasn't accomplished anything good.
Ok. That is freaky and wrong, and I'm a UK left winger who was glad he won.
Can you imagine the outrage about "Christian fundamentalists" if some school class in Alabama had been found to sing praise of George W. Bush before or after he accomplished anything?
Comparing Obama to famous dictators is wrong but I think it is safe to say that some of his followers are mighty similar to followers of famous dictators.
Especially since Obama hasn't accomplished anything good.
We can argue forever whether his accomplishments are good or not. But the fact is that even if he were to become the most brilliang President ever, he has not accomplished anything YET, whether good or bad.
They are praising him for the blackness of his skin.
School children should never be made to do this, it reeks of North Korea and 'the special leader'.
According to the foxnews article (Link) it has not been determined if this was in fact done in an Elementary School in NJ and that the person correcting and teaching them was a teacher or not. At this point the Superintendent for that district has not made any comment. With that said, none the less, this is disturbing, outrageous, shameful and criminal.
If I was a parent of one of these kids I would be raising hell to the school, the school board, the mayors office and the Govoners office. If the parents of these kids don't care about this they should be ashamed of themselves. It's one thing for your kids to want to be like you, it's another to brainwash them into what you want them to be. This definitely proves Liberals do not believe in freedom as far as I'm concerned.
From Michelle Malkin, because we can't trust the media to investigate this.

Back to Charisse Carney-Nunes. Via ModernConservative, Carney-Nunes is senior vice president of The Jamestown Project, “the award-winning author of the children’s books, I Am Barack Obama (2009),” and according to her biography, “a graduate of Harvard Law School, where she was a schoolmate of President Obama.” I have e-mailed Carney-Nunes for comment as well. The Obama school song video that she taped shows her book featured on an easel next to the children hailing Dear Leader. She promotes her book as a tool that “allows children to see themselves through the inspirational story of President Obama growing up as an ordinary child asking, Who will change the world? Ultimately, he realizes that he will.”

Funny, last I checked this was the United States of American, not the Individual States of America. And last I checked the Constitution requires there be not only a President, but also a Congress and the Courts, I beleiev people call it checks and balance. Kinda funny how Bush was bashed for being unilateral yet here we have a President who thinks he can change this country all by himself.
I find this very disturbing. The kids can't sing Christmas songs anymore because it reeks of religious adoration to a Savior that not everyone believes in anymore... but what do you call this?
It's wrong for children to have a role model of "small poor kid who worked hard and managed to become president of the U.S."?
Personnally, I'd rather have my kids take up this role model than some sports players, or popular singers. Most of them, actually.
Do you want to look back and see how this fits many of our U.S. Presidents? Take Lincoln for example. He was about as poor as anyone coming from the most illiterate background ever. Obama had ALOT more going for him than Lincoln did. Truman owned a clothing store back in Missouri with a Jew as a partner which back then wasn't very kosher. Yet he made it all the way to the White House. Go back and check the history books. How many had this type of idol worship attached to them?
The problem is that it's not true. We are still not sure who paid for his college education, and he hasn't worked a real job ever.
Not in a million years. I want my kids to recognize that hard work and personal responsibility is important, not government entitlements.
Poor kid??? Are you talking about the same Obama that is the US president? Bastard yes, poor no.Barry's mother had enough cash to chase her taste in men the world over.
ID some folks here believe entitlements are their right. Dear leader giveth, dear leader taketh away.
And to think that it was just a few years ago that just having a picture of Prs. Bush on classroom walls was considered "propaganda".
I think Obama has given us a whole new meaning of propaganda. I have not in all my years seen such a President in such a frenzy to be in the media like this. It seems as tho he has an insatiable appetite for being in the media. I noticed recently that Obama's mugshot is in every morning's front page of our local paper big and large. I don't remember this with past Presidents before. I turn on the TV he's there. I turn on the radio and I hear his voice. Now we've got school children singing his praises. This is not the first group of children btw. This is getting increasingly bizzare.
I wonder how many more children will be pulled out of public schools this year because of all this? Are the children still pledging alligience to the flag anymore?
Interesting way of putting it...
