With school letting out soon, and Windows 7 just around the corner, manufacturers and stores will most likely be offering some deals on new PC's for the fall. This weeks poll is a simple one, asking if you plan on purchasing a new PC sometime this year.

Actually yes...just as soon as I get my butt back to work and save up the bucks. Win7 should be on the market by then. Hopefully I can get me one that's decent enough to handle all the new stuff comin' out.

Just bought one....and as of a few hours ago...finished the build....and powered up [nothing but the box]...and it didn't blow up....so all is good...

Looking to build a bit later in the year.....probably October....hopefully prices will drop more between now and then

Purchased a new computer in April, an off the shelf Gateway model that has quad core, 8 GB of memory and runs Vista Home Premium 64 bit. I should not have any problems running Win 7 when I decide to upgrade.

Oh and I still have my P4, 2 GB, XP Home 32 bit system that was revived from near death.

Probably should have had a response option for folks like myself and the others who have all ready purchased a computer this year, just a thought.

With the economy the way it is? You've GOT to be kidding! I lost my job in April after 13 years with the company... and nothing is on the horizon at all.

I have a relatively new computer right now, so I'm not planning on buying another this year. It would be nice to be able to afford a second one though.

Already built one,a Intel i7 quad core,loving it,but i will probably build a second one this summer and sell it.

we just bought new computers, mine from ibypower and my wife got a HP pavilion laptop. both running vista 64bit and hopefully looking to upgrade to win7???

If I had any spare money I would spend it on my house, not a pc. Priorities
