If you could stand to watch thIe chosen one’s speech last night, it was quite horrifying, at least to anyone who values prosperity and small government. I don’t know what was worse, listening to Obama or watching Pelosi stand up with that loony smile every 5 seconds.

In his speech, Obama confirmed what we knew all along, that he is a socialist, and that he is a liar.

Obama promised free college to everyone, free healthcare, free energy, and all the other liberal goodness that almost made Pelosi explode. Of course with that, come higher taxes. Now he tried to brush off the higher taxes nonsense, but the fact is the people he is aiming at are small business owners, they are people who invest into things like jobs, and he want to tax them.

He went on to proclaim that government is your only hope, and while saying he doesn’t like “big government”, he is proposing the largest increase ever which will cost an unbelievable amount of money. The worst part is watching the applause while Obama plots the downfall of our economy, and our wallets.

my credit to you and my hat is off if you servered in Iraq , if you were a contract employee then you probly worked for haliburton either directly or indirectly so I would think that would make you slightly skewed tword them

I didn't serve in Iraq, I was there on holidays.

I wanted to go where the journalists don't go so often and talk to people.

and you must of missed in my post where I said if you want a reason to go to Iraq try because he gased his own people [ the kurd's]

but the truth still is we went because of his Daddy [of course this can't be proved]

I a perfect world the U.N.[uterly neutral] should of stopped Saddam and should be stopping the shit in africa with a little help from us and all other country's

The UN doesn't exist on its own. It's now a world government (thank G-d) but a club of countries, many of them dictators. The UN are far from utterly neutral. They are in fact very supportive of fascist dictators and genocide and have attempted to save Saddam for as long as was possible.

Yes, they should have stopped Saddam. I agree with you. But the UN didn't and they didn't even try. They tried to save him instead.

and did you people ever think maybe Obama is trying to help the poor and middle class so they can help out in this time of trouble ?

I have never met a politician who didn't want to help the poor and the middle class.

In fact, it's right up there with improving the education system.

I'll vote for the first politician who runs on a platform of screwing the poor and the middle class and who can explain in detail how he will make the education system worse. That would be a man who knows what he's doing.

In that case why did Obama just implement a method by which only those who pay taxes will help while those that don't have no responsibilities whatsoever?

Here's how WE ALL could help: get rid of social welfare. That would free funds to improve the infrastructure and create jobs. And WE ALL would have to help, some of us by paying taxes, others by working low-paying jobs created by the infrastructure program.

But to announce that WE ALL must help and then put the burden on SOME people is a disgusting strategy. Why can you not be honest and openly announce that you support a policy in which SOME people will be forced to help and others will simply benefit without investing work or money?

If you really want nausea and fear take a look at what we have in the White House now., or are you still wearing your "hope and change" goggles? Obama will unite Republicans and Independents a hundred times more than Jindal could dream of doing.
