Introducing the Desktop Gadgets Gallery

Newest addition to WinCustomize!

It’s been a while since we added a new gallery to WinCustomize, and today I’m happy to announce the addition of the Desktop Gadgets gallery! The Desktop Gadgets gallery are for stand-alone gadgets that are created with DesktopX Pro.

The advantage to these gadgets over widgets, is that they do not require DesktopX to be installed, and can run on virtually any Windows XP or Vista desktop. The ability to export gadgets like these are well worth upgrade to DesktopX Pro.

So go check out the new gallery, and thanks goes to RomanDA for helping to get the gallery stocked for launch.

what ever happened to the gadget website? There were a lot of free and 'master' type gadgets there.

Thst server crashed hard last year and never recovered. I don't remember more than 15 or so gadgets though.

I plan on going thru all my "older" widgets and remaking them into Gadgets. I also plan on making sure they all work in Vista (since thats what im using now). I want to re-do HC Pro to work in Vista and to see if i can clean up some of its 3000+ lines of code. (Dont wait on that one.. it will take some time) I love that we have this Gallery, thanks to all those who helped get it in place.
