Give Your Percentages
Published on September 15, 2008 By Island Dog In US Domestic

We did our informal polls throughout the nomination process, but now that we have the candidates down, lets move on to some election predictions.  Everyone give your prediction on who will win, and the rough percentage of the vote they will get.

For me....

McCain/Palin will win with 54% majority.

I'll see your 54 and raise you.  McCain/Palin at 65%

Honestly, I can't beleive how the democrats took a surefire win and managed to shoot themselves in the foot again, and again, and again. and then set their foot on fire for good measure.

I bet McCain will win.

I want NEITHER mccain nor obama, but someone else... but you aren't asking who I WANT to win. You are asking who I think will win. So... McCain it is.

I predict a Democrat or a Republican will win and America will lose.

McCain, 48%

I'd rather be saying McCain/Palin... or even Bob Barr (LP), but I'm already on record with my prediction, but I'm already on record with Obama/Biden winning by only 6 EC Votes.

They took shooting lessons from the "Gang who could not shoot straight".

As for a prediction - Today: McCain 52/47 over Obama.  If Someone with intelligence can talk to Obama, that will change.

They took shooting lessons from the "Gang who could not shoot straight".

This wouldn't have happened had they been hanging around with Cheney instead.

Damn!  I missed a great one!

Well done Charles.

I don't think that the Palin bounce will hold through the debates.  It's going to be close and it's going to come down to the debates.  Based on where things are heading today and assuming that neither canidate implodes in the debates, Obama wins the popular vote 49/48.  McCain wins the EC by taking Ohio and Virginia, Obama wins Colorado, PA, and MI.  Margin is apporx. 12 EC votes, less if Obama takes Nevada.

Edit:  I think I miscounted and McCain needs MI as well to win.  In which case, it's going to be Obama.

Government 99.9%

On a more serious note: McCain/Palin win 50/40 with 10% going to others.

on Sep 16, 2008

McCain/Palin 57%
