Pretty smart.  I mean, now it forces America to vote for either a black man OR a woman.  And I don't know how it is where you live, but in my extended family that's A BIIIIG DEAL.

I like this idea. It will put the Obama camp in an uncomfortable position because so many Democrats liked Hillary "because" she was a woman; to still give them that option as a VP may prove to be a tempting choice for those who refuse to accept Obama over Hillary.

Fox News confirmed....it's Palin!  A VP pick with more experience than Obama.  LOL.

Gov. Sarah Palin, McCain's running mate. Now here's a reason to vote Republican. She is young, vibrant, a mother of 5, supports domestic drilling but has stood up to the oil industry, she's a straight shooter all the way.

She's not a enviro-wacko, but she is very pro-conservation. 80-90% approval rating in among Alaskans.

This is one great woman, and McCain made a great choice!

I Just Might Have a Reason to Vote Republican Now!

Still opposite sides of the ticket.  I am sure many faux "NOW" members will use that as their lame excuse.

And because of Obama, they cannot "Quayle" her!

I said this months ago, that McCain needed to pick a younger, conservative woman.  Thankfully he listened to my advice.

The funny thing is I just heard the Obama campaign saying she is inexperienced.  What?  She is more experienced than Obama.  She doesn't have to hide her background like Obama did last night.

The bill in the mail?  Consulting is a lucrative business.

So far I really like her, and man I think whoever is advising McCain is S-M-A-R-T!

I can honestly say, today I will actually feel GOOD about voting for McCain.  (Before I was resigned, mostly because of his immigration ideas.)

After the messiahs speech last night, I now give McCain my full support.

I think she was a good pick.  I guess McCain keeps his maverick street cred - lol.   It surprised me but I think it will be interesting.

I wasn't able to see the speech.  I'll check it out on youtube eventually.  I could only take one night of American Idol, and I took it the first.

For a change the Republicans like the streak.

I'm disapponted 'cause I was holding out for Condoleezza Rice...

But that hasn't stopped them from trying...

But that hasn't stopped them from trying...

And it has not taken them long.  But I have noticed that everything they try, is bouncing back on them many fold.  This one will as well - Inexperience?  Do you want it with a finger on the button?  Or in training for a day that hopefully never comes?  Vote for real experience.
