Add to that the tactics of the prosecutor, playing for the press, and then when he's finally asked to make his case he drops it for fear his evidence is weak. No matter, he can just invite the press to his hotel room and make his case there. I'm amazed after that kind of behavior that he was allowed to go on at all.

Now we have an antagonistic judge to boot...
