Computer monitors have become much bigger and the prices have become quite more reasonable than they used to. I picked up a nice 34" widescreen for just a couple of hundred bucks. It's not 4K, but HD has been working quite well for me. I do have a 4K touchscreen laptop, and that is certainly nice to have when working with images and video.

But the question today is what size wallpaper resolution do you typically look to download? Do you even look to see what resolutions are available?

2560 x 1440, I have two 27" BenQ's.

Oh, and as far as checking wallpapers for what resolution they come in, I don't bother checking as I can just change the size on my end in most cases.

Main monitor is a 43" - ASUS XG438Q 3840 x 2160

Then there is my 35" widescreen ASUS ROG STRIX XG35VQ 3440 x 1440 and a 27" which is a local brand, Voxicon D27QO 1440 x 2560 in portrait mode.

And yes, I get the right size for the intended monitor, can't be asked to resize and adjust them so searching on the size I want them on.

2560 x 1600.  30" Apple Cinema

and

2560 x 1440.   27" Dell Ultrasharp

I ideally look for these sizes but if I like the wallpaper I'll use the smaller sizes if no option...or resize larger ones...
