Quoting Echelion,

The tech is Terraforming which you get after Soil and habitat techs to buy the super project "Orbital Terraformer" which instantly turns all red terraforming squares green saving you the wait in the construction queue.

I like extreme worlds (aquatic, high gravity, radioactive, toxic, etc) but I would like the option to be able to turn them off in the game setup screen?

This was in Galciv2, Tiles aren't red in Galciv3 as they only appear with the specific techs/buildings that are available to choose to build anywhere that meets a certain % land.  In one of the Dev streams a few weeks back it was mentioned that they may put a tech toward the end of the tech tree that will allow one to build on all possible tiles that have x% land on them.  I don't see that in the game currently, was wondering if this idea was axed.

It probably was axed as in GC2 you could build on tiles on water and they probably dropped it so that couldnt happen?

From the text files:

Biospheres

Terraform any remaining salvageable tile.

It probably just isn't implemented yet.

Here are the most advanced terraforming improvements in the game. The first two are at the end of the branch for the Iridians, Terrans, and Drengin. The last one the Alterians get in the age of war. The in-game descriptions for these are wrong, here is what they currently do:

Biospheres: It allows you to terraform any tile, even ocean, but only one per planet.

Ultra-Terraformer: You can build multiple of these per planet and they can terraform a tile of decent quality or lower (the same level as Terraforming Plant).

Biosphere Manipulator: Same as Ultra-Terraformer, but you can only build one per planet.

I played the beta. Very good, first impression is very nice.

1. I cannot find base points for manufacturing. Each factory gives 10% to manufacturing .. but i didn't find the base number to witch is added;

2. I cannot find the algorithm for the manufacturing received by shipyard from sponsor.

3.Is it posible to influence the capabilitites of a ship from  design only?

The raw production for manufacturing is currently not displaying, this is a bug. To find raw production for your planet, set the planetary wheel to 100% research or wealth. Then check that tool-tip. That will show you your raw production for the planet in question. Then multiply raw production by the % of production you are devoting to manufacturing and that will give you your base number for manufacturing.

2. I cannot find the algorithm for the manufacturing received by shipyard from sponsor.

total manufacturing * %military manufacting * (1 - .1 for each hex  of range beyond 6 between sponsor and shipyard.).

3.Is it posible to influence the capabilitites of a ship from  design only?

No. Design is aesthetic only. Performance is completely determined by components.

Or you could flip the template so the design is going backwards because they havent got reverse! lol j/k
