Microsoft held an event today in NYC where they introduced the Surface Pro 3.  The new Surface Pro 3 features a 12” HD screen with 2160x1440 resolution, new multi-position kickstand, thinner and lighter than previous models, and many other improvements.

During the presentation they showed off the note-taking abilities, and pen functionality with an optimized version of Photoshop CC.  The functionality and integration with OneNote and OneDrive looked very interesting, and could be a very useful feature.

The Surface Pro 3 will be available later this month starting at $799 with various configurations available.

Too overpriced considering you can get an Android 12" tablet for far less. Perhaps Microsoft should think about a better price point.

LOL. This is not comparable to an Android tablet.

Yeah, maybe I should.

This looks to be a far better buy than the Surface Pro.

This is a real computer. The fact it can run PsCC...ah!

Might be really cool if it could run like a Wacom using the MS Stylus...

If it does that I would buy it. Would make for a good alternative to the Cintiq companion.

Might be what I end up buying to replace both my laptop and iPad, if MS & Citrix get their shit together*.

Saw a guy using a Surface Pro a few months back and I've been absolutely itching to get my hands on one. Think I'll hold off for a bit for this one instead!
