I'm definitely not.  I do like to drink wine, but I am not that knowledgable in types and pairings and whatever else people tend to do with their wine.  The favorite type I like to drink is Sangria, but we also have some really great wine that comes from a Lakeridge Winery which is here local in Florida.

Do you drink wine?  If so are you an expert, or just someone who likes to drink?

Wine or wino? Hmmm. More of a whine aficianado, I'd say.

Apart from the simple red-meat, white-poultry/fish...not really. I try to go with what tastes good to me, but not too often.

I've been to Lakeridge Winery and they do have some wonderful wines. I'm more partial to reds and my wife prefers whites.

Don't really attempt to match a particular wine to foods. Stick to what I like and in moderation.

Ahhhh yes, Sangria, I remember having it at a club in Zaragoza, Spain... and don't remember anything after leaving, my buddies had to get me home.

Sangria, such good memories. In college we would go to this 'venue' to listen to local bands.  Drink of choice for the table?  Pitchers of sangria, fresh fruit slices floating amid the wonderful nectar.  Last time there was to hear a jug band that hailed for the Adirondack mountains area (very upstate New York). Great times, great memories.  And sangria is wonderful, and pairs with meat or fish - no messy red wine / white wine problems.

Do you drink wine?

Typically once a week...[Friday night] .... rarely remember much after....

Re 'quality' wines...I do have a bottle of '75 Grange ..... possibly a seriously classy vinegar....

.....or maybe something that pulls about $750 a bottle...

Drink of choice..... Coopers Sparkling [it's a beer...and 100% Aussie owned...unlike that Fosters crap] ...

I remember back in the 70's reading a lot of Jack Kerouac and he went through a period of drinking Port. So one weekend I suggested to my friends that we should do that. We all ended up passed out on my front lawn and my poor Mother thought we were dead! I think there were 5 long haired young men involved altogether. Port has twice the alcohol % of regular wine. Later on I was kneeling at the throne of the porcelain God! I don't think I've had a taste of that stuff since then.

Now I'll take a sniff or 2 of vodka or beer most times.
