South Park: Stick of Truth is out today, and the overall reviews seem favorable, and people in general seem to be talking about it. Did anyone happen to pick it up?

Fantastic!

Of course I'm a huge Southpark fan so......

I've only played a little bit, but it really has me impressed so far. They completely nailed the feel of the show in every way - though that shouldn't be surprising since Matt and Trey were heavily involved. Exploring South Park is a lot of fun and the combat is cool and involved too. I'm really happy this turned out great.

Stick of truth is a game?  LOL.  I thought the ads were for a new South Park movie.   Yikes...

Might as well be. It's uncensored and it's just like you're playing the show.

so its bigger, longer, uncut, and infecting PCs worldwide.

Seriously, anyone who considers themselves even remotely a 'fan' of Southpark should get this game.........imo

But $60.00    wow... and I thought DW was expensive.

I played it at a friends. Unless you're a fan of South Park, I'd recommend you stay away.

I second that.

Thirded. I really like it, but I also like South Park. I think the game is genuinely funny on its own, but it's also clearly made with the assumption that you know these characters, the world, the style of humor, and are at least somewhat fluent with the many, many references to the show that are in it.

It's a fantastic game for fans of South Park and a funny, though kind of confusing light RPG for everyone else.
