holdtheline.comHoldtheLine.com talks to Derek Paxton about Stardock and the games industry.  It’s a great interview which covers a good range of what’s going on in the game industry, and the writer has a fantastic summary at the end.

Gilleous (Edward): Thank you for answering a few of our questions. First off, congratulations on your 20th Anniversary, Stardock has come a long way. What do you believe were some of the most valuable lessons the company has learnt about the gaming industry?

Derek: “It’s not about next week or next month. It’s about where you will be next year and the years afterwards. There are some things you have to do to make sure you have the ability to do that, but in general you have to always make good long term decisions, even if that’s painful in the short term.”

A solid read. It's interesting to read up on stuff about the industry, and the interviewer seemed to very much be on the ball with his questions.

It was a good read.  For some crazy reason, I read "Holdtheline" as something that had to do with hot dogs...there is something not right with my brain today.
