Stardock is retiring the early-adopter upgrade discounts for Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes and Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion. Any owners of previous games in the Elemental or Sins of a Solar Empire franchises who want to take advantage of discounts they are currently eligible for will need to make those purchases by Friday, November 15.

Thank you all for your support over the years. We’re on the cusp of an exciting new era for Stardock, with the announcements of Galactic Civilizations III and Oxide Games (and more surprises to come soon), and we hope to continue earning your support in the years to come.

Nice... I didn't even realize I could have qualified for a Sins Rebellion discount... well it was worth the price I payed. I look forward to the Gal. Civ. and Oxide Games.

I have Fallen enchantress on steam,

i would like to get the upgrade to Legendary heroes.

My question is ;

in order to get the 50 percent off ,

do i have to go to the stardock store for this?

Or can i get it from a site like gamersgate ,

take advantage of their reduced price

and get the 50 % bonus for owning FE on top of that?

Also , does the game merge with fallen enchantress since it is essentially an upgrade?

Meaning specifically , since i have the steam FE version , do i have to buy a legendary heroes steam version somewhere?

Or is there only a steam version , even if bought from stardock or a third party?

I can't work out how you are supposed to know that you can apply a discount. Anyone?

Mailers went out when the games were released, and the discounts have been mentioned in various announcements then and since. And it is directly mentioned on the purchase page.

Yes. Since FE doesn't use Steamworks, you should be able to register FE with us regardless where it was purchased (and probably already have, since it prompts you on first run). If the purchase page doesn't show you are eligible you can contact sales@stardock.com to verify.

LH does use Steamworks (thus requires Steam) but does not require FE, either on Steam or otherwise. So no worries about that.
