The v0.99 beta update for Decor8 is now available.  Windows 8 limits your start screen customization options to only 10 provided background images and a few pre-defined color schemes. Decor8 removes these limitations and provides the freedom to personalize your start screen with your own images and colors.

The V 0.99 Beta Update for is not available from the my software downloads(shows(0.95) nor is the update showing inside Stardock Central either.

anyone else having issues with it?

The store and SDC are being updated. Give it 2 mins and you should be able to download.

A little transparency to the tiles would soften the ui and make my eyes happy. Just sayin...

Yes, this is a great app for turn an eyesore intsomething more pleasing to the eye, thank you Stardock.

Yes, this would help some, but if we're talking about features I'd like to throw my hat into the ring....

I'd like for it to be possible within Decor8 to create custom tiles for installed apps/programs and to even be able to edit existing ones with images of our own. 

There is an app called OblyTile that partially does this [creates custom tiles] but the interface is a bit clunky imho and not as pretty as one Stardock would create. Found it through a link posted on devART.  Hmmm, DA's good for something sometimes.

Anyway, I have used it to see how it works, etc, and while it is reasonably effective [does what's advertised] it lacks editing for existing tiles and isn't Stardocks.  Hope you're listening, blokes, it's something Metro needs.
