Quoting Frogboy, reply 7 IGN says their isn't enough interest in FE to justify a review right now given how busy they are with the Christmas releases

Ah, I have a bit of a knack at this so I'll translate for you:

"IGN says Stardock aren't spending enough money advertising with them to to justify a review of FE given how much money other companies are spending advertising for the Christmas releases"

If you check IGN, you'll see that they have a number of reviews over time of games by small indie developers who haven't advertised with them.  On the other hand, you'll see very few TBS games reviewed.  It's a genre that takes a lot of time to review reasonably well, and most young reviewers who work for next to nothing and have no background to speak of in gaming don't care for TBS titles.  I'm not suggesting these are the only reasons IGN and the other big gaming sites haven't yet reviewed FE, but I think they may factor into the decision.

I know some folks who review games, they simply won't do TBS's because they are too busy with other games.

It's better to get few reviews than bad reviews from folks who don't understand your games.  The Skullgirls folks were upset at a GDC once because only one of the reviewers there even understood how to do the basic special move in a 2D fighter- so they couldn't get to what made the game good (in their opinion) in a short timeframe.

Most of the games I play aren't review friendly.
