The geniuses at ThinkProgress claimed that street lights were literally melting on Oklahoma because of the so-called Global Warming.  Of course this is not even close to being true, as the lights were actually melted from a nearby dumpster fire.

As the article points out, other “news” outlets ran with the story without even checking the ridiculous claim.  Anything to propagate the left-wing theory about GW.
