IGN has a great article up on the upcoming Elemental: Fallen Enchantress along with the history of Elemental and what has been done to “right the wrong” as they say.

“Elemental: Fallen Enchantress is Stardock's mea culpa for War of Magic. The studio has spent two years attempting to right the most vivid stain on its legacy, and the hard work shows. Fallen Enchantress is already in a better state than its predecessor, and it still has many more months of development time. If you were an early supporter of the Elemental franchise, Wardell hasn't forgotten you. Anyone who bought War of Magic in 2010 gets Fallen Enchantress for free, while anyone who buys War of Magic now gets a discount. “

Its weird that in the article he called the spell of making "the spell of mastery."  I don't think Stardock would have changed the name... so maybe the author is a fan of MoM?

This is a good sort of article. It emphasizes Stardock's moral behavior, but it also emphasizes that the game is looking to be good and entirely worth buying.
