Like many of you, I love a good sale or bargain especially in these economic times.  So many forums I visit have a thread like this I wondered why we don't have one, so now we do.

Lets use this thread to post any PC video game deals you might think would be of interest to other gamers.

OK - I've got a good one here.  First - it's free.  Second - apparently you can trade it in for a $5 credit for another game when you are done with it.  Third - its actually a really fun game.   Details through the link:  Disciples II gold for free.

I normally wouldn't do this, but I want to give this a bump.  EVERYONE THAT READS THIS POST (end caps) should get this game for free.  Even if you don't want the game.  You apparently get a $5 credit for spending nothing.  That means if a great deal comes up on green man gaming (and there have been a few), you get $5 off for the incredibly huge effort of creating an account on their site or logging in, clicking buy, and then benefiting later.  All that said, its a really great game.  BUT - I recommend everyone pick it up for nothing for the future discount.

Civilization 5 is free to play this weekend on Steam.  It's $7.50 for standard or $12.50 for the Game of the Year edition if you want to pick it up.

A special sale pack I found that I thought was worth mentioning, this one from amazon digital.  A Paradox pack:

A lot of good stuff for about $12.50 - Crusader Kings 2 (worth it for that alone IMO), Magicka collection, Sword of the Stars 1 (complete), SoTS2 (which is getting much better and playable), and Victoria 2.   Really good buy, but I'm thinking its today only.  I believe that Magicka, SoTS2 and Crusader Kings 2 are all Steam activations.

Here's a new one.  Just Cause 2 activated on steam - $3.74.  I heard some good things about this game if you are into the open world sandbox/blow up stuff genre.
