Is nice Dog! A good look, with relevant info readily accessible. Is Win.

I found some interesting kernels of info. Such as the existence of blunt, pierce, and slash damage. I look forward to learning more about the tactical considerations of this. And much more..

the new site looks very nice

1 offtopic questions, i just checked the spells here https://www.elementalgame.com/fallen-enchantress/spellbook

are that all the spells that are in FE ?

Looks great!

There are many more spells. That is just what we got a few months ago. They are all the spells from WoM.

Great new look. I did a spit take when I opened this up a few minutes ago. Need to clean my monitor.

Looks excellent. Great improvement.

Looks great! Can't wait for all the other info (QUESTS!) to show.

@Pantasd: I think those are just the common 'research-able' spells. Many more spells await your discovery in-game.  To quote Brad... "insane number of magical spells"..."Because magic is really a game by game thing, you won’t see most of these spells in any particular game." Check this thread for a couple screenshot teasers of the massive spell list.

EDIT: An extrapolated guess from the screenshots of the Hiergamenon spell listing... it looks like there may be near 350 spells!

I have to admit I'm rather excited for FE, been looking at it since the developpement started and the only point hat scare me is magic !

I know there is more spells but it scare me not to know them and the website still shows the old ones with a couple new ones

Anyway, I really hope earth magic will get way better than what we see there with tactical spells that gives our armies a certain advantage on the battlefield and not only on the strategic map ! *praying*

But the magic system and how much time you spent on it reassure me ! The rest of the game looks AWESOME and I trust in all stardock's team !

Cant wait to put my hands on the game when it will come out also the website is truly amazing ) I love the new look, way better than the old one !

Continue the great job !

Just a thought Island Dog...

How about sending out a twitter alert as you add content to the "Coming Soon" sections? (also add a posting to the forums and facebook). I'm getting excited about this pre-beta launch buzz. I imagine I'm not alone. It could be good to foster that energy by posting alerts that new info has "just" been added.

Pretty much any news/journals that come out are put up on Twitter and Facebook?

Is there something I'm missing?

thanks for the info ppl

I might be thinking too micro, and I am only thinking about the content of the new site; but updates as the "Coming Soon" sections are completed, appeal to me. And for the purpose of fostering a social media buzz, I think sporadic updates over the next few days would be helpful.  For my part, I keep checking back to see if the Coming Soon sections are complete, or if any new info has been added to the new site.  I would prefer to be made aware of updates via twitter though. I use it as a news feed covering a variety of interests. A one stop shop for news and updates on things which interest me. Would be nice to see tweets regarding the release of new info on the new site.

But mostly... the kid in me wants to get excited over the upcoming arrival of a new toy. And the adult wants to savor the moment by keeping alive, the pre-release buzz as long as possible. I think lots of mini-updates throughout the next couple days will appeal to alot of people. And as a result of fb likes and retweets, more gamers on the periphery, will become aware of the game.

The forums page looks jacked up in my browser FF3.6

on Jan 17, 2012

FF3.6 is extremely out of date.  Not only will it fail to render some pages correctly, it also poses a large security risk.

I recommend you update to the latest version of Firefox immediately.

Download Mozilla Firefox

Why the hell are you still using 3.6?
