Looking at this makes me feel sad(not because Nokia moved it's production plant out of the country) because looking at it's specs and performance (512MB of RAM ) reminds me that my last phone had as it's best features a 20 line display and SMS icons. On the plus side, hitting someone with a Philips Savvy could be considered assault with a deadly weapon, and if you got the speaker wet, it had polyphonic ring tones.  [e digicons]:')[/e]

  • 7 h Maximum 3G talk time
  • 300 h Maximum 3G standby time
  • 60 h Maximum music playback time
  • 6.5 h Maximum video playback time

It is a 4G phone but they only display 3G talk and standby times...I am willing to bet that on 4G the time is cut to about half.

The music and video playback time are pretty good, better than what I get.

Watched the video. The first name in the phone list was "Joe User"!

The bike that rode by had "Evernote" stenciled on the cross-bar.

Strange that it doesn't seem to be available on nokia.no or even nokia.fi.

Looks like the Lumina 800 shown on the Scandinavian sites isn't a 4G phone?

It has very nice design, has to be said. First Nokia ever, i consider to be on par with Sony (Ericsson) products design-wise. IMHO alongside iPhone 4S, Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc and upcoming Sony Xperia S best looking smartphone currently.

Sadly for UK based HEXUS readers, Nokia's latest device will only be available exclusively via AT&T in the United States over the coming months, with no announced plans to release the phone in the UK or Europe.

Please explain - how is this better than several months old Samsung Galaxy S2?
