With many signs showing that we are headed for another recession or depression, the talking point of the left is that all of this is the fault of Bush.  We are 3 years into Obama and every time a new dismal jobs report comes out or something similar, we hear the usual…”well he had to clean up 8 years of Bush”.  Really?

Bush did have some negative effects on the economy with his spending and support of TARP, I won’t argue he’s in the complete clear.  However, what did he do that made it so bad, 3 years later it is still his fault?

Specific policies please.

He... he... uh?... He... You know what? I'll get back to you on this. I... I... I... I have a... a... a cake. Yea, I have a cake in the oven and I don't want it to over cook.

You list the first lie - 8 years.  Bush only had 4 and then only in bipartisanship with the democrats.  The first 2 years he did not have the senate (thanks to jumpin jim jeffords) and the last 2 was the Reid-Pelosi show.  His fault during those 4 years is in not vetoing the garbage the democrats put out.

So blame him for 4.  At that, Obama is way behind the cleanup as it does not take as long to clean things up as it does to mess them up (or we would be in recession more than not - which is not the case).  It is Obama's mess.  It has been since the Porkulus.  That was his silver bullet, but it was not the werewolf recession that it killed - but the recovery.

I think many people believe that the President makes the laws.

German media are currently angry at the Republicans in congress because they violate the fuhrer-principle: they doubt the president.

LOL even before the last election I was hearing about how Bush caused a world-wide economic crash. Wow, he was one powerful dude.

In a bar in Ohio I actually heard a guy say this. This was a couple of years ago, and several of us were talking about how bad the economy was at the time.

I looked the guy straight in the eye and asked him to explain exactly how Bush caused a world wide economic crisis. After a lot of him and haw, with a lot of prodding by myself and others, he finally exclaimed "He lied about WMD".

Ummm, ok, how did that cause an economic collapse?

No answer.

People are so fucking stupid it is incredible.

A long, long time ago I figured out the basic difference between a Democrat and a Republican. One screws you to your face, the other screws you from behind. And yet morons continue to vote along moronic party lines. Idiots.

Want to send a REAL message to Washington? Don't re-elect ANYONE. Vote them all out, every time.

I believe the economy was in a downhill with a few minor ups since the 70s and Reagan probably did more harm than Bush.

Richard Wolff is a great teacher and I recommend finding the whole video.

Yeah, every time I pose this question to liberals they either leave or blabber something about "tax cuts for the rich".  They can never name a single real policy that affected the economy so bad.

These idiots really need a tight leash or there head on a pike (ya I just watched Game of Thrones).

A teacher order pizza for her class at the end of the year and there is a policy of 2 slices per child. The fat bully kid does not like this policy so he takes all the money he stolen from other students and lobbies the principle to do away with the 2 piece per rule. Now the fat kid takes 2 pizzas and puts them on top of one another and folds it like a sandwich and starts to gorge himself. Now even the fat kid can't eat it all so he starts to offer crust for cost. Since the fat kid stole everyone's money the class cant afford any. So the fat kid offers to loan them the money at interest to buy the scraps of the fat kids table.

Teacher repeals to the principle but the fat kid gives him more ill gotten money again and teacher gets fired and looses her house.

Why the hell is stating "tax cuts for the rich" blabbering. Is everything you want to hear a statement and everything you don't like is blabbering?
