It's like... Sim City but not.

Looks interesting though. Hope there's a demo.

Lord Xia

Not my kind of game, but I too give a +1 to Paradox.

Also, since I'm barely on-topic as it is: are you a Three Kingdoms fan, Xia?

Absolutely, even read the novel.  Been a fan for 20+ years.  Xia comes from Xiahou Dun, but I'm guessing you saw the name and avatar and knew that already, thats why you asked.

Cool looking game.  If you go to the game web site you can download the current open beta which is kinda like a pre-demo.  After playing for about an hour in the tutorial I can say that for 20 bucks I'll pre-order this game.  From what I'm seeing so far it's got all the things I like about Sim City (transportation) and none of the other stuff.  SC2K and 3K were the best but SC4 was really disappointing.  This game doesn't appear to have the depth of a SC but so far is fun in my limited playing and I want to support companies like Paradox anyway.  For 20 bucks you can't go wrong.

Thanks to Impulse for getting this game, I had never heard of it until I saw the tweet about it today.

It is indeed. I've only read book one myself, but every time I see your avatar I get the urge to load up RotTK 11
