WC member gmc2 has created a user tutorial on how to Archive and Restore using Impulse, and posted it to the WinCustomize Wiki.  Thanks for taking the time to create this, and remember anyone can post a tutorial or guide to the WC Wiki for others to use.

Finally! I only wish I knew how to do this before, having lost 2 decent applications to buggy updates. A request to the powers that be: Impulse could use a 'how to' menu. Thanks gmc2!

Luckily, my other PC still has an earlier version of DeskScapes installed: the one where you right-click on desktop>properties>DeskScapes>apply. I want to archive this version but it doesn't appear on Impulse, which instead offers DeskScapes 3 and says 'previous version installed' under 'status'. But right-clicking on it won't give an 'archive' option for this previous version, only 'download and archive' for DeskScapes 3. Any ideas on how to find and archive the previous version would be really appreciated.

It can eaiteher create a new achive each time or overwrite the last one." I didn't know this option existed under Advanced Settings. "Archive application before updating" in Advanced Settings should do the trick. Thanks, Zubaz gmc2 you might want to mention in the Tutorial that this option exists under Advanced Settings.
