iTunes 10 Available

The new iTunes 10 was announced on Wednesday at the Apple event, but it didn’t go live for downloads until later in the night. The download was put up last night and is now available for download either from the website, or via software update.

This new iTunes includes several enhancements including a new icon design, the Ping social music network, 99¢ TV show rentals, AirPlay, and various performance improvements.

The UI (inside) looks better, I like the new minimal icons for the sidebar, looks a bit faster/responsive too.

About Ping, I found it a bit boring, the service looks very unfinished ATM but the idea is great, time will tell if

this will be a hit.
