ObjectDock Plus 2 Beta Update v1.98

Today we have released the latest update to the ObjectDock Plus 2 beta, which brings it up to version 1.98. This update brings lots of user reported fixes and some new features.

The v1.98 update includes:

Added "AeroPeek"-like functionality to application shortcuts (Brings AeroPeek-like function to XP as well!)
URLs no longer open as all-lowercase
Tabbed docks no longer show titles of icons at inappropriate times (e.g. dock is hidden beneath taskbar, when mouse goes over taskbar icon titles would show up)
Fixed 64-bit issue where 64-bit apps would not have running indicators
Skype now works propertly when opened from the ObjectDock system tray
"Weather" no longer missing from docklet list
"Flyout" no longer missing from docklet list
SHIFT+Right-click on file entries on the dock to bring up their full file-menu

Customers who have upgraded to ObjectDock Plus 2 will find the update available now in Impulse. You can still purchase the ObjectDock Plus 2 upgrade which gives you access to the beta. More info can be found here - https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/

I like what I see so far except:

"Fixed 64-bit issue where 64-bit apps would not have running indicators".....Still no way to change the indicators.

Start menu launcher is still borked on 64 bit.

Anyway,I'll save any other bug reports for an appropriate thread. Good job on the updates. Thanks SD!

Okay, so how do you get Aeropeek to work? I see the box in setting, clicked it but nothing happened. Closed ObjectDock and reopened, doesn't work, do you need to reboot?

EDIT: Okay, let me correct myself. Aeropeek does in fact work on Win 7 64 bit on the Zoomer Dock. It doesn't seem to work on the Tabbed Dock.

FIXED: 64 bit applications now show properly as thumbnails in a running applications dock.

FIXED: SysTray support also appears to be fixed for applications that had problems (64 bit native?).

NOT FIXED: Tabbed docks still open on the wrong monitor in multimonitor situations unless the mouse is hovering in the primary monitor desktop area during startup.

NOT FIXED: Can't select Monitor 2 for a Zoomer Dock in a 3 monitor configuration (2 display cards).

...still checking the bug list, but so far so good with this release!

Aero peek is great, but it takes a second longer for it to come up than it does on the taskbar.

Mine took nine hours.

After I got home from work I figured out why peek wasn't showing on my dock.

"Weather" no longer missing from docklet list

That´s good, but the docklet shows me the wrong days, if i choose "celsius" as temperature.(today is friday)

If i change from "celsius" to "Farenheit", then i see the correct days.

I come from germany and must have celsius, what can i do?

Still no 'Run as Administrator' option from the menu.

I upgraded yesterday to v2. I'd like to know if there's a way to have just one stand alone free floating dock on the desktop to house just three of my favorite icons without the hiding dock also? In other words, do both docks have to be active when all I want is just one?

Just delete the dock you don't want.

To delete a dock, go the config screen and press the X for the dock you want to get rid of.
