I was checking out the Stardock apps on Download.com today and noticed that Fences has reach over 1.5 million downloads since its addition there!  That is quite an impressive number, and thanks to everyone who has supported Fences!

If you don’t have Fences already, download it from Download.com and lets get that number to 2 million!

That's a heck of a lot of downloads in a relatively short time. Congrats to Stardock and the Fences development team.

But the question is, does this fence keep eetmorsqrls out?

I actually downloaded Fences recently.

It's basically a desk organizing basket for your computer. I wouldn't buy it, but I'd certainly take a free version.

Kind of telling how my desktop is sorted into "Games" and "Other," now that I think about it.

I'm glad I got fences.

CNet is the best advertising Stardock gets.  That's where I found out about Window Blinds.  Their recommendations influence a lot of people.  When someone asked if there wasn't something better than Microsoft's Aero, CNET told them to check out Window Blinds by Stardock.  I don't use Fences though.  I have NO icons on my desktop.  Everything here works by magic.

I have idly wondered about Fences on mobile devices, like Android, or Windows Phone 7...just a thought...

Well, thanks to ID's article, I have been running it for almost a week now.  And I love it!  Thanks for another great utility that really helps!  I do not keep docs on my desktop, but I sure hate going through the start menu to launch a program, or dig through explorer to find an often used folder.  And fences keeps them all neat and tidy on my desktop (the shortcuts).
