Martha Coakley has conceded the race to Scott Brown, after Brown continues to have a huge lead in the race.

Congrats to Massachusetts for putting someone in the "peoples" seat.

Quick - tune in MSNBC.  It's just too good to miss.

KO is so condescending.  It's great.

'American Idol meets Who Wants to be a Senator'.

That's KO's 'analysis' of Brown's speech.

Now interviewing Huffington & pushing the meme that voters are 'still voting for change'.

Brown's best line - 'I asked the President if I should drive the truck down to DC so he can see it'.

on Jan 19, 2010

Now Brown's a 'snake-oil salesman' for pretending to be 'independent' - well, KO should know from snake-oil even though he doesn't have a clue.

KO couldn't even acknowledge Brown's homage to Ted.

'My God, he's still talking!'

'Tonight, the teabaggers elected their first Senator.'  And he claims the that the 'teabaggers' named themselves; Janeane Garofolo had nothing to do with it.

If KO didn't exist, we'd have to invent him.

Rachel's turn.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz: it wasn't about healthcare - 98% of MA residents have healthcare so it couldn't have been about that.  'The buck stops with the candidate'.  This was just a 'bump in the road'.  The reason Brown won was that the Republican base was a lot more enthusiastic about electing their candidate.  (Never mind the 3:1 Dem registration advantage).

Man, oh Man - in the span of 24 hours Massachussetts has gone from the most enlightened, intelligent state in the nation to nothing but a bunch of knuckledragging Nazis.  'Least if you believe a lot of lefty bloggers/commenters.

They're in total panic mode - they're now convinced their only option is to pass something, anything, to avoid getting 'creamed in November'.  The talking heads want the Dems to have 'an accomplishment' to show for all this effort & to go into the fall elections with 'something'.  Trouble is, that 'something' will be a bright, luminescent target.

OK, now back to you, ID.

on Jan 19, 2010

OK, not just yet.

While in the midst of a segment about 'what this means to women' and bemoaning how Massachussetts has never elected a woman governor or senator, Rachel chooses, without any sense of irony or self-awareness, to trash Sarah Palin.

OK, now back to you.  Really.

love it wingnuts!

The best thing is they still don't get it.  They are all over now whining about nothing will get done now.  Hahahhaa!

Thank god I did not watch PMSNBC.  Fox's coverage was more a split screen (between the regular shows and the coverage), but I followed the results on Drudge.

There is no point in watching KO.  Any idiot can spout talking points and vitriol.

And he's the one calling Limbaugh the Worst Person in the World.  Notice he doesn't do a bit on the Worst Idea in the World - it's all personal demonification with him.
