It’s Christmas Eve, and if you are like me you still haven’t finished shopping yet.  If you have friends or family across the country or the world, getting a gift to them in time now is pretty much impossible, or is it?  With Impulse you can send a game or application as a gift digitally and they will receive it nearly instantly.

In the checkout page, just click “purchase as a gift”.

Fill in some basic info, and after you make the purchase they will be sent an e-mail with instructions to download.  It’s very easy and is a great way to send a friend a favorite game.

No they can't get it nearly instantly.  Right now Impulse has stolen $84 from me for an instant download that I didn't get.  It was paid through paypay and I get no response or answer from Impulse on why I haven't gotten any email from them

Please note that if you wish to use PayPal to gift a game, simply pass by the first PayPal button to get to the regular checkout sequence.  Once you get to the payment portion, you will be able to choose PayPal.

Actually I have a question kind of relating to this. I have purchased Elemental but there doesnt seem to be any indication that I own it. It doesn't appear in my games area of Impulse how can I verify that everything is fine?

You should have received a confirmation email of the purchase with information that you need to use to register it through Impulse.

The elemental beta is currently closed. After the next phase starts you will be charged and be granted download access. So you do not have a serial to register at the current time.

I did get a confirmation email but no info on registering.

EDIT: Never mind Netriak answered it.

If I remember, the preorder for Diplomacy was the same. It was not in the game list until the beta was released. But everything worked when the Diplomacy beta was released an it then showed up in my game list.
