Is IconPackager 5 going to get the same GUI facelift that Deskcapes 3 and WindowBlinds 7 has?

With the old versions, I would apply a package on wednesday and it would finally apply by friday afternoon.
This version took about 30 to 40 seconds to apply and it didn't even "wonk" out explorer.
I've only applied it twice on XP, so here's hoping it stays this way.
I'll take a guess and think it will do the same or better on Vista and Win7.
Good job.

Last week or so Impulse popped up on my desktop and offered me IconPackager 5 for $199 I mean $1.99

Of course I didn't need it because I already have it. Could it have been a joke?

When OD expired and if deal like that still pop-up, I might....

I get the same results with Vista. If you long for those "click on Monday, apply on Wednesday" load times  and a spastic explorer restart just use Theme Mangler Manager to apply an Icon Package.

Icon Packager used to have a setting to let you remove the shortcut overlay. Can we get that back? Please?

Theme Mangler Manager

I can't get it to recognize that I have Deskscapes.

I can't get it to recognize that I have Deskscapes.

Try the most recent update, available today. DS shows up in TM now, although I didn't try it to see if it actually applied it.

I believe it still doesn't work with DeskScape 3 though.

I just applied  a dream using TM and DS3. It applied fine but I still had to unload it with the DS interface,TM wouldn't revert back to the WP I was using. Typical results for TM, hit and miss functionality.

Off topic but there were updates in Impulse just now for DeskScapes 3, DesktopX4, and Theme Manager.

I got updates for IP and WB7 but that was it. Theme Manager still doesn't recognize that I have Deskscapes. Just shows "Install now which takes me to Impulse where I'm told it's installed correctly.

I can run dreams I just have to pause them if I do anything, i.e. check outlook, use forum, etc.

Thanks for trying.
