GameStooge.com has published the first part of their “50 Great Games of the Decade”, and Sins of a Solar Empire has made the list at #48!

“Adding to the deep strategy was the look of the game; it is one of the most visually stunning strategy games of all time. Planets were varied in their composition, and every change the player made had an affect on the planet and ships. Zooming into a planet with many cities, for instance, revealed traffic air lanes zipping through the atmosphere. Not enough can be said about Sins, save for the fact that it was also unforgiving.”

This might sound good, but really, I'd be hard pressed to even find 50 games in the last decade I can say I liked..

Top 10, maybe Top 20 would be respectable, Top 50 isn't saying much.

Some on the list I somewhat agreed with examples such as diablo (seriouly I though this game was much older than 2000) and to those I totally disagree such as the GTA series. Seriouly, love them or hate them, RTS represent such a small portion of the games listed. Other than Sins and civ I don't remember what other games are there. Seriouly, any of the command and conquer series should also be included, I mean you are talking about the largest RTS game after starcraft (and if SC 2 was finished by 2009, it would so made it onto the list)

And for some of the games of 2009, I think they should even be included since they haven't had much time to mature. So bacially any game that was released in t2008 and before should be included. Just because a game was highly anticipated...it doesn't mean it should listed at the top, e.g. of this is the l4d2 I mean seriouly...

As for some of the games, they should be higher and some should be much lower, but that is just my 2 cents
