Windows 7 is out, and so is WindowBlinds 7.  The perfect match for having a beautiful and styled PC desktop.  While the release of the new WinCustomize has been slightly delayed, you will be able to sort through skins that are Win7 compatible, along with a bunch of improved gallery features.  More info about that later.

Since people have been looking for skins that will work with Windows 7, I wanted to feature a few so they can easily be found.  If you have others, please list them in the comments.

Wouldn't it be nice if you could take a skin into skinstudio and convert skins to what ever your OS was with the click of a button! That would be awesome!

Yeah, currently it takes several clicks of several buttons!

Might be a good idea to put a stickie on this article so that people can find it easy. And people could post older skins (XP or Vista) that they`ve tried out and let it be known that they work great in Windows 7.

XO10 by Madcat is another W7 skin.

The only skin I've used on Win7 that's kept me from going back to the default is BlackOps by MikeB...and that wasn't even designed for Win7 as far as I know...

The older xp and vista skins just don't look that good on win7. Even the simplest default win7 Aero theam is a 1000 times better than the best converted xp skin. Why bother and why skin a modern os to look like a 2001 version of XP?

Sunken Treasure xxx Vista looks good/works great in Win 7... on the front page of most recent uploads

Nostalgia.

Really, I agree with you; but there are a lot of good Vista skins that work well on 7.
