Greetings all!

As many of you might know already, we had a power outage at one of our data centers yesterday which unfortunately caused problems with WinCustomize, especially in the galleries area.  Thankfully, we were able to restore the skins library but there are a few issues I need to make you aware of.

  • If you uploaded anything between 5am – 5pm EST, yesterday on October 27th, you will need to submit again.
  • Some items in our moderation queue were corrupted, so this morning the WC mods will be exiling these skins.  Please resubmit them.

On the bright side, we took this opportunity to move the database to a more secure server which will hopefully minimize the loss in case of an event like this in the future.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

-Spencer

Update:

It appears the upload system still has a few issues.  We are working to get them fixed.

Just did two uploads (wallpaper and logon) and find they've gone into "processing" with no previews, instead of the normal "in moderation". Pesky Halloween!

I have tried unsucessfully to resubmit "corrupted upload" Neither IE8 or Firefox works correctly. Processing, no preview.

Don't submit anything at this time.  Anything uploaded we will have to exile again because of corruption.  They are working on the issue.
