Continuing with their recent interview with Stardock’s Brad Wardell, Shacknews.com has posted the second part of the interview.  The first interview was mainly focused on Elemental: War of Magic, and this part is a bit more focused on PC gaming in general.

Shack: Right. And I think you have to take advantage of the PC's strengths. Elemental's extreme zoom is a good example of that. That's instantly attractive to a PC gamer, and it's something native to the platform.

Brad Wardell: Yeah, it facilities something that... Galactic Civilizations II had it in 2006, Supreme Commander had it in 2007, Sins had it in 2008. And it makes a big difference--it's something you can't do on a console yet.

As always, it’s a great read.  Check out the full interview at Shacknews.

I read this I think. Is this the one where Brad talked about hoping/wanting Microsoft to do more for the PC as a gaming platform and then mentioning Windows Live came with some sort of charge.

News flash Microsoft, if I didn't play games as heavily as I do, I would have little reason to stick with Microsoft products.

Games for Windows Live is Microsofts biggest embarrassment.  First it was complete crap.  Now it's just crap.  The client itself is far better now, but the overall service provided needs an overhaul.

It's like a good idea gone horribly wrong.
