HP Launches the ‘Envy’ Line of Notebooks

HP has announced a new line of high-performance notebook computers called Envy.

“HP today redefines the premium notebook PC experience with the introduction of the HP ENVY sub-brand, which offers customers precision-crafted, high-performance models featuring HP Metal Etching and concierge service and support.

The new HP ENVY 13 boasts the brightest display in its class, and the HP ENVY 15 is the company’s fastest consumer notebook PC ever. “

We also can’t forget to mention the custom user interface created by Stardock.

Wow. I saw a Hands-On of these notebooks on Gizmodo... I DIDN'T know that Stardock had done a Windowblinds interface for them though!

I've always been a fan of the aluminium bodies on the Macbook Pro's. When these 'Envy' machines are released and reviewed it'll be nice if they turn out to be a reasonable PC alternative to the Macbook line of laptops - in terms of durability, battery-life and performance.

In any case, this looks like a fantastic Laptop for the High-end market. I'll be in the market for a new Laptop in a few months time, might have to look into one of these. As least I know the UI isn't going to cause my eyes to bleed like some of the so-called 'Gaming Laptops' I've seen around.
